"Love is a psychological and schizophrenic condition where we get all crazy then forget who we want to be later"  -  A. Vasquez

Present day 11:15 AM

"I can't believe he ignored us like that." Tamara blurted storming away from the Sergeant's police cruiser.

"Don't sweat it Tam, we're a news crew, you get use to it after a while," one of the women of the small caravan mentions.

"I would normally Kate, but he didn't even acknowledge us even being there," continues Tamara without a break in thought.

"Maybe the guy's got family problems or something," wedges Chris, another crewmember.

"Or the man's a butthole and did it to give us a public middle finger, ever think about that Tam?"  asks the cameraman.

Tamara glancing at Sandes' police car squinting to look at the police officer says, "No, that isn't Sandes' style.  He's more laid back and usually cooperates with the press on these kinds of matters.  Besides, it seemed he was in some sort of daydream."

"Perhaps it was hypnosis," she hears in her head.  Tamara, turning quickly to see who is speaking to her, finds she is all alone.  Searching, she sees the rest of the crew across from her by the news van; what had seemed like just seconds, were in fact minutes.  "This is weird,"  she thinks to herself.  "I'm hearing things and losing track of time."

"Sounds to me like a hypnotic suggestion," she hears again , except this time it is aloud.

Rotating slowly around in a circle she lightly speaks "Who's there?"

"I am," the voice replied as a light red glowing mist covered the ground around her.

Her voice believing this was a game being played on her, demanded that Peter, an annoying trickster and practical joker, show himself and stop playing silly little games.

"I'm not playing games Tamara.  I am here and I want you," the baritone voice whispers.

"If you're not Peter then show yourself," she sputters stepping backwards and is suddenly halted by something.  Startled, she turns with her heart racing and begins to visually prowl her path's obstruction.

"Pardon me," a surprised debonair voice moves toward her.

At first look the sun's rays engulfs his head like an eclipse.  This makes it very hard to see who it was that she has bumped into.  The cologne he wears entrances her for a moment, as does his being next to her.  His very existence makes her want to be with him every waking hour of the day.  Yearning secretly, she feels as if her younger days as a schoolgirl have returned and there is the matter of a crush on the teacher.  One that seemed too good to be true, but at the same time, fatal to anyone who walks near him.

Tamara becoming defensive, absorbing her surroundings, feels that she doesn't want anyone to touch him, or even talk to him.   Her head begins to spin from a weird desire.  Emotions and feelings of gargantuan proportions attack both her heart and head.  She has no control, no boundaries of judgment.  All she can do is cry out for help and so she screams.

"Tamara, stop it!" the man shouts shaking her a little to break her vocals.  Still dazed Tamara scoots away from the man to get a better look at him.

"Oh how embarrassing,"  she murmurs.  "Detective DeMarcus, I'm sorry.  I didn't even see you," she says apologetically.

"You okay Miss?  You seemed kind of out of body there for a couple of seconds.  Perhaps you need some water or something?   I just might have what you need... over here."
